So, you haven’t done Star Wars Day… You just haven’t done Star Wars Day until you’ve done it at Disney… where you can meet Chewbacca, get hassled by stormtroopers and wield a light saber in its natural environment. Photographing kids at Disney is the best way to get into their worlds, it’s one of my favorite things! And that’s my kid with the severe light saber at the end here.
Chillin’ like a villain.
Glitter for Carrie ❤️.
A Disney baker came scanning the crowds during Galaxy Far Far Away, came up to me and said my son and I were the best in costume, and gave us this chocolate Vader-butter cupcake!
Nikhil and Aryan versus the Galaxy.
You know you’re doing it right when Disney geeks compliment your Leia Bound or Bespin/Endor mashup hair design.
This is what a stormtrooper first look looks like!
“…a little short for a stormtrooper…” is relative.
That face when you realize you’re going to get that light saber you’re playing with in the gift shop.
Watch out, Rebellion.
YES! HA! He just walked out of the gift shop and struck that pose!
When you finally get your first light saber.
Dark Forces for real! I don’t know how he got drawn to the dark side, where did I go wrong?
Star Wars Day was hands-down the best Disney day I’ve ever had. If you want your kids’ authentic experience captured too, you can! It’s a lot more immersive, and more memorable than phone pics. I got park perks I can extend to ya too!
