I love when couples have obviously amazing personalities and channel their heart, soul and talents into their wedding day. Jess and Richard’s day was simply packed with them-ness. I love that their effort and expression of selves welcomed me and made me feel so familiar with them, although we had never before met in person.
This pair of snow birds flew from their home in New York to winter-pleasant Florida to join family and friends from Korea, China and all over the U.S. to celebrate their wedding day at Ceviche Orlando. Ceremony began with Jessica singing “Stand By Me” as she walked down the aisle, recessional (with bubbles!) to a piece of music she wrote. You absolutely must see their choreographed first dance that went from Lion King to K-Pop in under sixty seconds. So great! These two are holding the flag right now as Best First Dance of 2018.
This day brimmed with Jess and Richard’s unique personalities, and I’m so happy they chose me to capture all of that for them, because embracing personality and sharing it so warmly with others is what I love and encourage so much as a photographer. Truly blessed to have been a part of this day for them.
